Throughout the school year, students will gather in their house families to build community, encourage teamwork, celebrate school spirit, and form meaningful connections with both peers and teachers.
Our first House Meeting Day is this Thursday, October 2nd! Students are encouraged to wear their house shirt or house colors to show their pride. The house with the most spirit will earn 100 HOUSE POINTS!

September is National Attendance Awareness Month. Creekside Elementary and Primary are going to be doing an Attendance Awareness Campaign next week to push the importance of daily attendance. We will be doing dress up days for the students to participate in.
The classroom in each grade level with the highest attendance percentage for the whole week next week will also get a popsicle party!

Homecoming Week dress up days for Creekside
Grandparents Week starts tomorrow. The doors beside the lunchroom will be open for Grandparents to enter. Park in North parking lot and enter in those doors. There are chairs set up along the hallways while you wait for your grandchild to get to the lunchroom. Tomorrow is K Girls and 1st grade girls.

Tonight's Booster Challenge
We will wrap up the Booster Fundraiser this Thursday with the Fun Run. Each grade level will have 45-60 mins to run, walk, jog around the course that will be set up.
K- 8 am
1st - 9 am
2nd - 10am
5th - 11am
3rd - 12pm
4th - 1pm
We ask all parents to meet their child's class at the soccer field during their time.
Tonights incentive is students can wear their PJ's tomorrow for any type of donation made tonight.

Please be sure to follow the posted schedule for the events. Also, remember that the lunchroom does not have change available, so we kindly ask that you bring exact cash for your visitor’s lunch. The cost is $5 per guest.

Come support our PTO tonight at Zaxbys in Athens from 5-8pm.
Starting Wednesday, August 13th, the North car line will be cut off at 7:35am. When the 7:35 bells rings, orange cones will be set out to block the turn into the 2nd the loop. If you are inside the cones you will remain in the car line to unload but if you are turning in off the road after 7:35, you will be directed to the front office to check your child in.
This school year, all LCS schools will be using this new Communication platform so go ahead and downloaded the LCS app.
